- [Man] Spring Initializr makes project creation very easy for sure, however I find that any time I can stay in my IDE, my proficiencies as a developer increase. Now, I cannot go through each IDEs individual plug-ins, but if you use a major Java IDE, there's a good chance that there is a plug-in for Spring for it. Now, I'm going to start in my IDE here, and I'm going to create a new project, I'm going to select Spring Initializr, I'm going to accept the project SDK, and the default location for the Spring Initializr Service URL. You'll notice that you can customize this and this is very powerful if you're enterprise, once we do some custom behavior with start.spring.io, but that's beyond the scope of this course. Go ahead and select next, and you'll see that we have much the same metadata.
