Lynn specializes in big data projects. She has worked with AWS Athena, Aurora, Redshift, Kinesis, and the IoT. She has also done production work with Databricks for Apache Spark and Google Cloud Dataproc, Bigtable, BigQuery, and Cloud Spanner.
Lynn is also the cofounder of Teaching Kids Programming. She has spoken on data and cloud technologies in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.

- [Instructor] So now that we've looked at existing roles, existing skills, and certifications, let's start aggregating the information. Let's look at Cloud career paths, let's match the existing roles to Cloud roles. And we're going to start with IT Pros. So if you're currently working as an IT Pro or network administrator, the most straightforward path into the Cloud would be a Cloud DevOps professional. You'll be doing a lot of the same type of day-in, day-out network configuration, service configuration, and monitoring and management that you've done on premise. Additionally, if you are network administration, there really is an entire role, particularly in many enterprise companies, now called Cloud Security Expert. It is so important to understand the shared responsibility model that you'll be working with, with your particular vendor.
